Cookie Policy

1. Summary

Our website sets no tracking cookies, carries no advertising pixels and builds no profiles about visitors. Where website analytics is switched on, it works without cookies and without identifiers. The dashboard uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep the application secure. Some preferences you choose, such as theme, are kept in your browser's local storage.

This policy covers our marketing site, our documentation and the dashboard. It does not cover the documents you generate: files delivered through our file and image domains are static downloads and set no cookies of ours.

Because we use no cookies or storage beyond what is strictly necessary or set on your request, no consent banner is shown. If that ever changes, section 6 explains what we will do first.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser and reads on later requests. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which keep values in the browser without sending them with every request, and tracking pixels, which report that a page or e-mail was opened. This policy covers all of them.

3. Marketing site and documentation

On https://dynamicdocumentapi.com, including the documentation, we set no cookies of our own.

TechnologyPurposeKept
Local storage: theme preferenceRemembers whether you chose light or dark modeUntil you clear your browser storage
Security cookies from our CDN and bot-protection provider [if enabled]Distinguishes automated traffic from real visitors and protects forms against abuse[duration to be confirmed]

The theme preference is stored only when you actively choose it. Until then, the interface follows your operating system's light or dark setting, with no cookie and nothing stored. Prices are shown in euros only, so no currency preference is stored.

The interactive API reference in the documentation runs entirely in your browser, with its own telemetry and remote fonts switched off, so it loads nothing from other origins and stores nothing about you.

Analytics. If website analytics is enabled, it is cookieless: it counts page views, referring sites and broad device or country information, and does not set identifiers that would recognise you on a later visit or on another website. The result is aggregate statistics, not a profile. [The analytics provider and its exact configuration are to be confirmed before launch.]

4. Dashboard

The dashboard at https://app.dynamicdocumentapi.com needs cookies to work at all. They are strictly necessary, so no consent is required for them.

CookiePurposeKept
Session cookieKeeps you signed in to your account and Workspace after loginUp to 14 days of inactivity, then it expires; signing out deletes it
Security token cookieProtects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery[up to 1 year, to be confirmed]
Bot-protection cookie [if enabled]Protects sign-up, login and password reset against automated abuse[duration to be confirmed]

The dashboard may also keep interface preferences, such as theme or the last view you used, in local storage. Product analytics in the dashboard works without analytics cookies and records pseudonymous events about feature use, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. What we do not use

  • No advertising or retargeting pixels, and no conversion tracking for ad networks.
  • No cross-site tracking, data brokers or audience sharing.
  • No social media plugins that load from another site when you open a page.
  • No cookies that profile you or that follow you between our website and other websites.
  • [E-mail open and click tracking in product and marketing e-mails: to be decided. If it is introduced, it will be described here and in the Privacy Policy.]

6. If this changes

If we ever want to use cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, such as marketing pixels or analytics with identifiers, we will first add a consent manager that denies everything by default. Nothing non-essential will load before you opt in, refusing will be as easy as accepting, and you will be able to withdraw consent at any time from a link in the footer. This policy will be updated before such technologies are used.

7. Controlling cookies and storage yourself

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under privacy or site settings, and offers a private browsing mode that discards storage when you close the window. You can clear the preferences we store by deleting site data for our domains.

If you block cookies for the dashboard, signing in will not work, because the session cookie is required. Blocking storage on the marketing site only means that your theme choice is forgotten between visits.

8. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the technologies we use change, and the date above shows the current version.
